Patagonia Argentina, located in the Southern Hemisphere, is a land of wild open spaces, gin clear waters, and kind gentle people. As the first snows begin to fall in North America, summer is just beginning 40 degrees south of the Equator. The fishing season begins in mid-November and ends mid-April, making Argentina a welcome escape for the angler unwilling to put away his or her fly rod!

From the Ranch, you will fish streams, rivers and lakes, either by wading or floating. The primary rivers are the Chimehuin, Malleo, Alumine, Collon Cura, Calleufu, Quilquihue and Quemquemtreau. Hefty Rainbow, Brown, and Brook trout in the 16 to 24 inch range, will be your primary quest, though the opportunity to catch a career trout in the 10 to 15 lb. range awaits you around every bend.

The headwaters for most of the area's crystal clear rivers begin high in the Andes, then wind their way through the Andean foothills to the valleys below. These rivers will remind you of fishing in the Western United States 60 years ago, uncrowded & pristine!

Each waterway has its own unique characteristics, its own nuances, its own secrets. To discover the secrets of these true gems, you will be placed in the capable hands of our own native Argentinean guides.  Utilizing their knowledge and experience you will enjoy the ultimate Argentinean fly-fishing adventure.
